An educator, thinker and lifelong learner who is passionate about personal growth, Arnon Avitzur is the creator of “Where in the world is my math” nurturing students’ innate ability to think creatively, become invincible problem solvers, and ultimately grow to be leaders in the world.

For 15 years Arnon has been teaching both middle- and high-school mathematics and preparing students for standardized tests internationally. He is also currently educating prospective math teachers in the US on effective ways of teaching mathematics.

Currently pursuing his PhD in Mathematics Education at NYU, Arnon holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and a Masters in Business (MBA) specializing in marketing. Arnon is also a graduate of the distinguished Dale Carnegie course in Public Speaking and Human Interaction.

Using his academic experience and knowledge of teaching and mathematics, Arnon has also built a successful international hi-tech career working with technical, sales and marketing professionals. As a world wide marketing manager at Microsoft corporation, Arnon educated marketers around the world how to apply the same thinking principles from his workshops to their business strategy.

Seeing the immense value of connecting school-acquired knowledge with business life, and armed with the belief that anyone can learn, understand, and most importantly, apply mathematics, Arnon designed the “Bring math to life™” workshops and currently speaks in front of various audiences about his vision for education.
